INTRODUCTION
The retail industry has undergone a dramatic transformation over the past decade with the widespread adoption of new technologies. This has led to significant changes in purchasing habits of customers and retailers’ concerns about sustainable development; especially in the post-Covid-19 pandemic period and the global climate crisis that has continued to grow and persist in recent years.
The combination of these events and new technologies has further fuelled the need for digital transformation in the retail industry. But what does “digital transformation” mean? What should retailers keep in mind? And how will digital transformation be applied to retail operations to achieve sustainable business development?
Advantech’s vision begins with the Group’s orientation of “Enabling an Intelligent Planet”. With the desire to utilize Advantech’s core AIoT capabilities and smart solutions to best support businesses and organizations in their journey of “digital transformation” and “green transformation”, Advantech Vietnam is delighted to organize the 2024 Advantech Solution Day with the theme: “RETAIL INDUSTRY: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION TOWARDS THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”, in collaboration with domestic and international technology partners.
Through this event, we will learn about technology methods; capture values of digital transformation – green transformation; explore the latest technologies in the retail, F&B industries; and support Vietnamese businesses in their journey of digital transformation towards sustainable development.
